Vineyard: blend of the best wines of the cellar; 40% Nebbiolo for Barolo from the best growing areas in the Barolo region, 30% Barbera d’Alba Ciabot du Re, 30% Cabernet Souvignon
Soil: Calcareous and clay
Yield per hectare: 5.5-6 tons/Ha of grape
Vinification: wines are vinified separately according to the different types and blended at the end of the ageing process
Ageing: 24 months in French barrels using 50% new 50% used, bottled in the month of July. Available for sale two years after harvest, in September
Bottiglie prodotte: limited production ranging from 1,000 to 2,000 bottles per year
Analytical data: 13.5%/14.5% alcohol/vol.
Total acidity: 5.5/6.2 g/L
This wine is part of a project carried out by 8 producers, each of them producing their wine L’Insieme with the best wines of their company. To each bottle produced we deposit 5 euros into a fund which is given to charity each year, on November 11.
